Biography
Christine Simurda, Ph.D., is a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a bachelor’s degrees in Earth and Planetary Science, Archaeology, and Accounting from Washington University in St Louis and a Ph.D. in Geology and Planetary Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She has extensive expertise in data processing and visualization of products collected by visible, thermal, and lidar instruments. Her research interests cover a wide range of topics focused on developing and evaluating new remote sensing techniques for surface structure analysis and visualization. She is a member of AGU.
