Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology and Training Center
Ashley is the Director of the Y-12’s newly established Oak Ridge Enhanced
Technology and Training Center (ORETTC) which provides high consequence
radiological and nuclear material emergency response training to first
responders. He has a long history of innovation as a researcher in extended
reality, neutron detection, and hydrogen storage technologies. He is a Y-12
Googin Fellow and Knoxville 40 under 40 recipient. He holds professorships at
the University of Tennessee in Business and Nuclear Engineering and is
founder of L.I.F.E. consulting, a leadership consultancy. Ashley holds a
doctorate in chemistry and a masters of business administration.
