LtCol Matthew Morse is a member of the Marine Corps Technical PhD Program (PHDP-T) and recently completed his PhD in modeling and simulations (M&S) at the Naval Postgraduate School. He also holds a M.S. in M&S from NPS and a M.S. in Business Administration from Boston University. Maj Morse is currently supporting Training and Education Command's Project Tripoli in the development of a persistent, all-domain live, virtual, constructive training environment capability to support training at all echelons across the Marine Corps. He has a background as a logistics officer and M&S officer, with deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Marine Rotational Force-Darwin (MRF-D). He served as the M&S officer for Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group from 2014 to 2017, and currently serves as the M&S officer (8825) occupational field specialist in coordination with the Marine Corps Modeling and Simulation Office.
