Mr. Younhyuck (Melvin) Chang, M.S., serves as the Head of the Virtual Environment Validation Center at MOASOFT, Seoul, Republic of Korea, where he leads digital mission engineering efforts in support of defense and aerospace programs. He currently serves as the chief researcher on a government-funded project developing an automated multi-threat avoidance system for military aircraft, and leads multi-domain warfare simulation environment research in collaboration with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). His prior experience includes over a decade in vehicle systems engineering at General Motors and ANSYS, with expertise in multiphysics simulation, digital twin development, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Mr. Chang presented at I/ITSEC 2025, the premier international forum for defense modeling, simulation, and training, where his research on integrated threat response and evasive maneuver simulation was reviewed by U.S. DoD and NATO subject matter experts. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in aerodynamics from Hanyang University.
