Biography

JOHN J. DALY, is a senior systems engineer and has worked with Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, DoD Agency and Military Service clients in the development of technology and complex systems for: training, acquisition, intelligence, electronic warfare, testing, complex systems analysis, and operational simulation-based applications. He has been involved in the development of concepts, processes, and communities of practice for systems engineering, digital engineering/acquisition, and mission engineering. John has been a research engineer at the Naval Research Laboratory, specializing in advanced simulation-based command and control, weapons of mass destruction, and electronic warfare. He served as a career U.S. Navy officer in various ship and engineering assignments, and as an assistant professor of engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy. He holds a B.S degree from the University of Illinois, and M.S and M.E. degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School, all in mechanical engineering.
