Biography

LTC Charles Rowan is an active-duty Army officer currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Interim Director of the Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation (MOVES) Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Psychology from the United States Military Academy, a M.S. in Human Systems Integration and Ph.D. in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation, both from the Naval Postgraduate School. Previously a U.S. Army Armor Officer, LTC Rowan has served as a Simulations Operations Officer (FA57) officer since 2017. His most recent FA57 assignments include the Division Simulation Operations Officer for the 2nd Infantry/ US-Republic of Korea Combined Division, and Chief of Knowledge Management for the 25th Infantry Division/US Army Hawaii.
