Dr. Nathan Pickle is a Principal Engineer at CFD Research Corporation. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2016. Dr. Pickle's work has a strong emphasis on computational methods that apply principles of physics and engineering to better understanding human movement. His primary area of expertise is musculoskeletal biomechanics and is an OpenSim Fellow with deep knowledge of the OpenSim musculoskeletal simulation engine. He has experience in a wide range of computational tools, including mobile app development, musculoskeletal and physiological simulation engines, AR/VR, Unity, and human digital twins.
