Biography
Kathy Ruben currently applies her expertise in modeling and simulation at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), the culmination of her decades long year career within the national defense domain. Ms. Ruben developed a parallel career in education earning a master’s degree in teaching at JHU. Her contributions to education continue today as an adjunct professor for both the JHU Whiting School of Engineering for Professionals program and the University of Maryland Baltimore County Department of Education. In addition, she volunteers for numerous STEM outreach activities and has served many roles for the Society of Women Engineers at APL.
