Dr. Werner Born is a Senior Research Engineer in Aptima, Inc. As a member of the Performance Augmentation Systems division, he serves as the Principal Investigator for the development of cognitive assistants across a wide range of DoD missions. His expertise includes human factors and systems engineering. Dr. Born earned his PhD in mechanical engineering from University of Maryland. He also holds an MS in mechanical engineering from University of Maryland an a BS in mechanical engineering from Rutgers University.
