Brian VanVoorst is a Lead Scientist and Raytheon Fellow in the Intelligent Software and Systems Business Unit at Raytheon BBN Technologies and has contributed to research and technology development in computer vision, machine learning, autonomy and AI in his 14 years with Raytheon BBN. Mr. VanVoorst is currently the PI for Raytheon BBN’s work under CASTLE Improved Tasks to Advance the Delivery of Education Lessons (CITADEL) with ARL/STTC. He is also the PI for several related projects including Raytheon BBN’s participation in the ARL/STTC Improved Synthetic Training Environment for Assessment of Medics (i-STEAM) program, and Modular Medical Environment for Training & Evaluation (MMTE) program, as well as the DARPA Perceptually-enabled Task Guidance for Medical Assistance, Guidance, Instruction, and Correction (PTG-MAGIC) program.
